Gaterman Valves has over 40 years of experience in the engineering and manufacturing of high performance valve train products.  We are dedicated to providing the highest quality performance engine valves at affordable prices.  Each valve is engineered to deliver top performance and durability by using state of the art CAD design and CNC manufacturing techniques.  Gaterman Valves is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gaterman Products LLC.

All Gaterman Valves are constructed of certified premium materials and machined to exacting standards.  These valves combine premium features and quality at an affordable price.  Each valve features the following:

  • 3D CAD designed for maximum accuracy and reproducibility.

  • One piece, certified 21-4N austenitic stainless steel forging.

  • Solution hardening and aging heat treatments for stability and elevated temperature strength.

  • Plasma transfer arc welded Stellite® valve tip for optimum durability and wear resistance.

  • Precision ground, proprietary chrome plated stem for wear resistance and lubricity.

  • Precision ground primary valve seat for proper valve sealing with the cylinder head.

  • Dished/polished valve face for reduced weight and improved flow.

  • Secondary seat (back-cut underhead) for improved flow.

  • Undercut (pro-flow style) stem for improved flow.

  • Precision ground, square keeper groove.

  • Microswirl​™​ surface technology.

  • Laser etched for identification and lot traceability.

Microswirl™ is a revolutionary surface technology used on Gaterman Valves.
​This process combines the benefits of micro and swirl polishing by providing:

  • Stress riser elimination in the critical underhead area.

  • Reduced valve stem friction due to ultra smooth finish.

  • Improved flow by eliminating sharp corners and rough edges.
